Leveraging LinkedIn for B2B advertising

LinkedIn PPC ads for B2B marketing
When most people think of LinkedIn, they think of it as a platform to find employees or employment, or to connect and network with colleagues in one’s field. It’s not readily known as a pay-per-click (PPC) advertising venue. Recently, however, LinkedIn has made significant advances as an advertising platform and this has huge implications for B2B marketers.

But don’t just take our word for it. In the 2016 State of B2B Digital Marketing, published by Demand Wave, they found [...]

5 Steps for Nurturing Leads

Most leads don’t turn into sales right away. Maybe the prospect decided to buy a competitor’s product. Maybe the need changed. Or the purchase was put off. Maybe the specs and timing weren’t fully defined when the inquiry came your way. When a sale doesn’t come through or a lead is not super-hot, what do you do? Some companies toss all those leads aside and start over, generating new leads. What a waste! CCC recommends a different approach. Think of leads as seeds. They’re full of potential, but seeds need help and encouragement to grow. So do leads. The next move is up to you. Why not provide some help and encouragement?

Step One: Acknowledging the contact

The first, most important thing to do is acknowledge the contact. That lets prospects know you heard them and they’re important to you. You’d be amazed at how often this step is ignored. Let’s start with a couple definitions. These terms are sometimes used interchangeably, but this is how we define them at CCC:

INQUIRY   Anyone who’s expressed any interest in your products, services or company. It could be a student, an arch-rival, a random person or [...]

Does your website help sell?

Websites are the number-one resource prospects turn to when making a buying decision. So, while you may have many corporate objectives for your site, it is vital your site supports your marketing communications program and ultimately, sales. Corporate must-haves aside, if your website isn’t helping your prospective customer, eventually not much else will matter. Company websites can be asked to do many things: act as your online business card, brochure and catalog, educate visitors about your product category and make it easy for prospects to contact you. Some house ongoing blogs, provide investor information, showcase videos and even double as portals for distributors, suppliers and customers. But does your website work in concert with […]
